2016 Nissan Sentra Redesign, Release Date and Price

The release of the 2016 Nissan Sentra is very likely even though the Japanese automaker hasn’t officially confirmed it. The current Sentra looks like a solid sedan which offers all the requirements for an impressive driving experience. Truth to be said, it’s not that all. The vehicle needs some adjustments and enhancements in certain part to perfect the flaw, that’s what we are expecting for the next update.

Exterior

Coming to Continental later this year, the all-new Murano is viewed as a quintessential expression of Nissan’s direction in this regard. With chrome that highlights its V-Motion grille and boomerang-style LED lighting, the 2015 Murano is a visual representation of Nissan’s bid to create a modern environment in which drivers can seamlessly transition between home, work, social engagements, and back again. Better yet, Nissan is bringing the same effort to its popular sedan line in the not-so-distant future.

Starting with the smaller of the four-doors, reports suggest that Nissan’s plans for a sportier Sentra will bring the sedan in line with a similarly sized vehicle from the automaker’s European lineup. Pictured to the right, Pulsar clearly shares some design DNA with Nissan’s newest models—V-Motion grille and all. It appears as if more radical 2016 Nissan design changes are in store for the mid-size Altima, however.

Interior

Inside the 2016 Nissan Sentra, don’t expect drastic changes in this part. The changes will be minimal unless the Sentra gets Nismo badge. Overall, the cabin will still be comfortable, exciting and fun to drive.

Powertrain

The current Sentra comes with a 130 horsepower and 128 lb-ft, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with an Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission. The unit has an impressive highway economy of 40 mpg with the FE+ package. However, many mid-size sedans are now being powered by smaller but higher-performance engines that are also highly fuel-efficient, so the upcoming Nissan Sentra 2016 model could come with a stronger and more efficient engine.

2016 Nissan Sentra Release Date and Price

The 2016 Nissan Sentra is expected to bow sometime in 2015 with sales begin right after it. Pricing is estimated to start at $15,990, fair enough for all features and facilities offered in this model. Keep coming back here to see new updates in the future.
