2016 Infiniti Q60 Teaser

Exterior

Infiniti is teasing the look of the next Q60 with this concept. Like the Q50 sedan, the Q60’s proportions aren’t changed radically from its predecessors, but there seem to be some striking details on the way. The concept teaser reveals more crisp curves stamped into the fenders, and the unusual boomerang styling cue from other Infinitis at the rear roof pillar. New fender vents appear in the teaser, as do sideview cameras in place of mirrors–likely just a concept-car touch not intended for production.

According to Motor Authority, the Q60 concept follows up on recent Infiniti concepts like the Q30 and Q80 Inspiration. One difference: Infiniti design chief Alfonso Albaisa has said the Q60 concept closely resembles the production car due late next year, likely as a 2016 model in the U.S. The Q60 is expected to ride on a shortened version of the Q50’s architecture, with a convertible version in the works.

Infinity pinned aluminum or wood trim to create a Japanese-style cabin as an elegant atmosphere. In addition, the car battery is placed on the floor of the seat. It makes floor of the car remains flat and does not affect to the cargo space. The seat is made from high quality materials and it will be upholstered in leather.

Powertrain

2016 Infiniti Q60 goes with biggest mystery for the power plant and at this time we have no idea at all what to expect. The concept of Eau Rouge planned this car to be supported by V6 direct-injection turbo hybrid 3.0 liter to generate for about 550 horsepower but it seems that this engine is too much for this car. On the other side, there is Mercedes-Benz offers turbocharged inline-four gasoline engine 2.0 liter that seems step back from this car. We think that it would be best to give V6 engine 3.7 liter with more powerful version which is 348 horsepower and also 276 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to six-speed manual or seven-speed auto transmission.
